PHYSICAL FITNESS

Physical fitness is the capacity to perform physical exercise, whose health-related components include body composition, cardio-vascular endurance, flexibility, muscular strength, and muscular endurance.
Body composition is the proportion of fat and fat-free mass in the body. It is common for people to gain weight and increase body fat as a result of a lack of exercise and poor nutritional habits.
If you're physically fit you'll look better, feel better and perform better. The only way to improve your physical fitness is through exercise. Exercise improves endurance and strength while reducing excess body fat and increasing muscle tone.

Flab-to-Fit: Week 7 of the Transformation Workout Program

Based on the proven training methods that has produced results for millions of armed forces members, the Flab-to-Fit program will have you strengthening and reshaping your body in a progressive manner to maximize your potential and minimize the risk of injury.

Being in the second month of training, we'll keep the relative intensity at about twenty percent of the program's most strenuous workouts. Don't be concerned about the relative intensity at this time, know that it will get progressively more difficult and that by following the exercise plan be assured that you will be fitter and capable of handling the increased workload when it comes. We're here to get fit, not to get injured; we'll take it one step at a time knowing that each step brings us one step closer to mission accomplishment. Now's the time to lay down a good foundation that we'll build up from starting in the near future.

Make Strength And Conditioning A Part Of Your Daily Routine

The U.S. Armed Forces physical training programs presented at the services's basic training serves as an introduction to strenuous physical activity for many men and women. It goals include; physical adaptations (strengthening and conditioning) that take place to new service members' bodies, meeting our exceeding service-specific fitness requirements, and developing required physical skills necessary to survive and excel on the world's battlefields.

More than likely, going to war isn't on your list of things to do. That doesn't mean that you can't benefit from a military physical conditioning program. These benefits include; body composition improvement (lose excess body fat while gaining muscle tone), endurance, flexibility and strength. Regardless of your fitness goals, inclusion of military conditioning will enhance your overall conditioning base and level of physical fitness.

GET FIT!

Physical fitness is not a gift nor is physical conditioning a punishment. One thing that a fitness program can not improve is a lack of motivation and/or persistence. Getting physically fit and staying fit requires time, work and dedication. Your level of fitness is perishable…it is a use it or loss it deal. Physical readiness can not be outsourced…the exercises must be done by you…no one can get in shape for you. Improvement requires continual effort and perseverance...but the reward is great…a fit and healthy body capable of accomplishing things that a sedentary person could not.

Set goals, track your progress and encourage yourself to improve. A fit lifestyle; including regular exercise, healthy eating habits and proper rest will pay big dividends in achieving the goals you set for yourself.

The Building of an Athletic Butt

This series will focus on athletic drills and workouts which will develop powerful glutes and, in turn, an aesthetically appealing toned derriere. Part 1 of the series will provide a series overview plus glute-specific exercises and stretches.
Stop thinking and worrying about your backside! Athletes are not concerned about their butts; they’re focused on beating the competition. Their objective is on improved performance; therefore their workouts are designed to “better their game”. A very favorable consequence of their actions is the development of a phenomenal rump. Follow what they do and you’ll better both your game and your caboose.
The glutes are best activated by power and speed movements; such as dashing and jumping. Explosive sporting events such as long and triple jumping, pole vaulting, sprinting, tennis and volleyball rely heavily on powerful glutes. Therefore conditioning drills and workouts presented throughout this series will highlight the general physical fitness activities common in the development of athletes in those sports and events.
Having super strong glutes is a prerequisite for success in speed and power events. Bodybuilders talk about “glute day or “squat day”, for these athletes, every day is glute day! This is not marathon training, I am not talking about endless daily training sessions. High and round buttocks are the result of quick, explosive actions. Work the movements and the booty will follow.
Building an athletic butt won’t be the result of 1 thought, nor 1 attempt, nor 1 workout. Most athletes have been practicing their chosen sport for a considerable length of time. But that’s no reason to give up before you start. Like any worthwhile endeavor, improvement and success will come – if you put in the time and effort. As with most physical training, visible results take 6 weeks for starters with considerable progress noticed in a year. So take you “before” selfie today, track your progress, and see how it compares to next summer’s bikini pics.

HOW TO BUILD AN ATHLETIC BUTT PART 1

Athletes have some of the shapeliest and toned backsides on the planet. Build your own killer booty with these athletic drills and exercises!

Workout. Exercises and training designed to develop muscle tone and promote wellness. Physical training throughout the military services relies heavily on body weight drills with minimal equipment requirements.
Cool-down. Activities that help the body recover from workouts in order to maximize gains and assists in the long-term sustainment of flexibility and performance.

GYM-FREE FITNESS

GYM-FREE FITNESS: 10-16 July 2016 Daily Workouts
Military-style conditioning plan  similar in design to those used by U.S. Marines & Special Operations Forces.

Because the "average" American reporting for basic training can be anyone from an all-star athlete to a relatively sedentary recent high school graduate, the services of the U.S. Armed Forces created programs of physical fitness that anyone can use to get and stay in a state of physical readiness. Additionally, because of the sheer number of participants and the varying locations in which training must occur, the military branches must consider actual space and training resources when designing physical fitness programs and workouts so implementation can be accomplished "in every clime and place".
Based on U.S. Armed Forces physical training guides and manuals, this article offers daily workouts as part of a weekly plan for men and women who want to get and keep in peak physical shape. Continuous effort using battle-tested programs is a step in achieving a superb level of physical fitness.
